Luke Bristow joins Kairos Group as Director and Head of Client Services.
Kairos Group, leading influencer marketing agency, media owner and esports consultancy, is today announcing the appointment of Luke Bristow as Director and Head of Client Services.
Bristow joins from social creative agency, The Honey Partnership, where he was a Partner and Director, winning agency accolades including World’s Leading Independent Agency, a Cannes Lion in 2018 & and an Effie Award with Plan International. He was also a founding member and Director of Hey Honey, the Amsterdam based social content studio, which launched in 2017 and won a number of campaign awards in the social creative sector.
The appointment signals a move by Kairos to diversify its creative offering, and provide a new creative approach to influencer marketing and media buying. Bristow will sit across Kairos Group’s three core businesses; influencer marketing agency, Kairos Media; media owner and social publisher, Kyma Media; and gaming and esport consultancy, Kairos Esports.
Since being founded in 2015 by content creators Mike Craddock and Chris Parnell, Kairos had changed the way millennials view advertising and discover brands. Operating and launching promotions in the UK, United States, Europe, Latin America and Australia, the company boasts access to over 14,000 online personalities, reaches 150 million subscribers and in excess of 950 million monthly viewers.
Bristow joins with over seven years of industry experience having previously spent a number of years sat in Ogilvy UK’s social media department, handling clients such as PUMA, ŠKODA, British Airways, TK Maxx and American Express.
Bristow commented: “Every agency, old and new, tries to define their offering as ‘innovative’ or ‘disruptive’, but I’ve always questioned the true value of this. Brands want more than just the latest fad in the industry to justify their marketing spend. With Kairos, you have a company that has turned the heads of a lot of marketers, but for the right reasons. With its emphasis on driving ROI through ‘disruptive’ channels, they have brought incredible results to their clients; demonstrated time and again in their testimonials of over-delivering on benchmarks. I’m genuinely excited about harnessing this new performance marketing approach, alongside creative consultancy, to help brands get the maximum from their marketing budgets.”
Chris Parnell, Co-founder and Head of Partnerships at Kairos Group, said: “I am extremely excited about Luke joining to develop our creative and client services. We have achieved a huge amount so far, however, to accelerate our growth and diversify our offering we need people with a wider industry perspective. Luke’s definitely got those attributes. He has the unique background of managing global creative campaigns in a large agency environment, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit from his senior roles at independent agencies. He’s acutely aware of the emphasis brands now put on their marketing ROI, and like us, wants to give them a more efficient way of reaching their audience.”
