Twitch veteran Ross Millican, joins Kairos as Partnerships Director
After 5 years at Twitch, Ross Millican joins Kairos Group as their Group Partnerships Director
Global influencer marketing, media owners and specialist gaming and esport agency Kairos Group have appointed Ross Millican as their new Group Partnerships Director. The introduction of this position is a key step for the Group as they diversify their service offering, expand into international markets and cement themselves as leaders in influencer marketing, gaming and social media publishing.
Ross has made the move from Twitch, where he spent the five years, his last year as the Director of Event Sales and Sponsorships in EMEA. Twitch is a global powerhouse in live-streaming services that allows creators from all subcultures, games and communities to stream themselves to their audiences. Prior to this, Ross worked at CBS Interactive and Channel 5.
Ross will join the Kairos team in their new London office, where they moved into earlier this month. Ross will be working across the 3 entities, Kairos Media, Kairos Esports, and Kyma Media. Ross will be the first person to take on this role. The Kairos team has grown considerably since they were founded back in 2015, with a head count now over 60, across their London and New York locations, with an LA office opening soon.
Chris Parnell, Co-Founder and Head of Sales at Kairos Group, said “It is fantastic to have Ross join us here at Kairos Group. His wealth of experience in this industry is second to none, and I am excited to see where he can help build Kairos Group, as a global agency, in 2020”.
Ross commented “I was attracted to Kairos by the incredible work they are already doing in influencer marketing, esports and social media publishing, with some of the biggest brands in the world. What they have achieved with clients such as KFC, Angry Birds, and Activision is a testament to the industry expertise, vision and passion the team holds. This is a new challenge for me and I am looking forward to seeing what I can bring to the group and how we can scale it even further.”
