The Role in a Nutshell

You will be tasked with running multiple social pages of a prestigious brand’s main channel(s) (which is solely lifestyle/retail/fashion content) and generating new ideas to increase reach, engagement levels and grow the following organically.

You will be required to produce content calendars and create the content for each channel that’s completely original and bespoke. We need someone that lives and breathes fashion and on-trend culture while regularly keeping up with social and ANY happenings in the fashion/lifestyle space.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Take ownership of multiple content calendars across multiple social channels, create content for these ahead of time for internal and then external approval.
  • Brief in additional creative content with the graphic design team.
  • Amplify organic social communications across different channels to support the growth of all platforms.
  • Daily reactive content where applicable, jumping on any trends relevant to our audience.
  • Plan and execute full event coverage for any specified events (that may take place on weekends)
  • In-keeping with the tone of voice of the account and brand, execute ‘always on’ interaction with the community and audience/influencers
  • Input on/take ownership and execute social led creative campaigns to increase engagement and following on the channel
  • Contribute to team brainstorms and idea generation for content, new initiatives and campaigns.
  • Produce client facing periodical reports to outline performance on social and to ensure we’re hitting targets.
  • Input on social strategy planning with the Social Media Manager, for sign off by client.
  • Brief the campaigns team for creative executions and influencer campaigns for social.
  • Build relationships with all partners and relevant contacts for joint social venture opportunities and value exchange opportunities

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience of planning and creating entertaining and engaging social media content.
  • Minimum 2 years experience of devising and executing social media campaigns.
  • Strong copywriting skills - Ability to write with a relatable, lifestyle/fashion tone of voice.
  • Obsessed with trends and pop culture. Know what is and isn’t relevant to our audience and wider culture.
  • Ability to ‘think outside the box’ and produce both quick comebacks for audience engagement and stand alone copy when executing event coverage.
  • Ability to understand analytics data from Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook and report on performance.
  • Flexible to work outside standard working hours when required - evenings and weekend coverage for esports events, game launches or similar.
