Marketing Manager (Gaming) - New York

Full-time United States Kairos Media Experience: Mid-Senior level

Kairos Media are looking for a marketing whizz to help conceive, run and report on award-winning campaigns for one of our biggest clients. Working predominantly in the gaming and tech space, our client has become a market leader quickly and are looking to enhance their position as a go-to for gamers globally. Your job will be to work with a team of creatives & strategists to constantly deliver output that will put us on the map.


  • Support partner brands with achieving their revenue & profitability targets through the creation and implementation of robust marketing strategies that encompass the entire mix of marketing channels.
  • Build insights-lead campaigns that drive awareness, consideration and acquisition of our partners products/services throughout the year.
  • Create brand narratives that span across all activities and touchpoints to help empower brand strategies.
  • Think about and implement local market strategies, with particular focus on nuances in consumer behaviour and spending patterns.
  • Align all output with KPIs that are communicated, and committed too, with both internal and external parties.
  • Lead on the execution of campaigns, ensuring the relevant teams are involved and accountable across their core focus areas.
  • Act as an internal business partner for the brands you partner with, ensuring their brand is front of mind in every conversation.
  • Build relationships with partners to ensure we continuously increase our presence across their business and in turn drive commercial growth of the account.
  • Regularly visit account P&Ls to drive profitability and manage efficient growth, ensuring that the wider objectives of Kairos Media are brought into focus.
  • Challenge department heads to collaborate across campaigns to ensure marketing channels are utilised to the best of their ability to drive positive, measurable ROI for our partners.
  • Manage projects from end to end through the use of project management software and ensure data tracking is clear and robust through the utilisation of time tracking across all teams included in your projects.
  • Proactively analyse and validate customer needs and behaviours and communicate key updates with clients as part of an ongoing opportunity to increase scope.
  • Bring teams together in person for collaborative sessions that lead to award-winning outputs.
  • Be an ambassador for Kairos Media both internally and externally.

Your Skills

To be successful in this role we recommend applying if you have the following:

  • 4+ years of marketing manager experience with focus on gaming and/or tech.
  • Both a highly strategic and highly analytical mind.
  • Strong communication skills, being able to pitch/present directly to our partners whilst also being able to rationalise your approaches.
  • Experience of the entire marketing mix, and a perfect understanding of all relevant terminology.
  • Strong background in social media marketing, PPC, Display, and influencers would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong ability to manage a P&L with consideration to a wide range of projects running in tandem.
  • A strong understanding of the gaming industry and it’s growth opportunities.
  • A strong understanding and interest of shopper behaviour.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a team, as well as experience managing projects both up and down the chain of command.
  • “Get stuck in” mentality, knowing when the right time is to get hands-on with projects and when best to step back and allow teams to move forward.
