The role

Personal branding is really making a statement in the marketing world. We are looking for a creative copywriter to take control of our directors’ digital presence to show them as leaders in the space and to make people realise that not everyone with ‘chief’ in their title is serious and unrelatable.

We want you to be able to show off their personality and their skills to ultimately drive leads, attract the best talent in the industry and keep the current team at Kairos in the know.



Responsibilities

  • Write clear, attractive copy with our directors distinct voice for LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram - don’t worry our directors have a personality so you will be able to have fun with it.
  • Engage with different audiences across different platforms - social media is more than a copy and paste job.
  • Scheduling and executing a social media content plan - it’s important you know how to use social platforms (particularly Twitter and LinkedIn) and the best time to post for our global audience.
  • Working with the content team to coordinate video and podcast shoots. We want our directors'
  • faces to be out there so people know exactly who they are.
  • Writing up any scripts for personal branding videos/podcasts. Our directors can’t be amazing at everything and sometimes need a little direction, so that's where you come in.
  • Keeping an eye on industry trends, predominantly gaming and esports, to create engaging reactive content that will get people talking.
  • Seek out personal awards such as 30 under 30 and write up these award entries and win (or not, but ideally win)

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
  • Experience running social media handles and know what type of copy and content works best across LinkedIn and other social channels.
  • Ability to write punchy, cutty and sometimes borderline controversial copy.
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation.
  • Be able to hold a conversation about our industry, particularly in gaming and esports.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Creativity (obviously)
  • Stellar research skills to make sure we are talking about the right things to the right people
  • Collaborative spirit - it’s cringe but we are one big family
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • BSc/BA in marketing, English, journalism or related field is desirable
